24 hours of brutal VROEM VROEM
Oh how great is it to go around in circles for 24 hours. The most manly sport on earth. The 24 hours of Le Mans is the ultimate test of endurance. Pushing the newest toys to their limit. Don’t forget the rain that always makes an appearance. Of course little things must go wrong and those four wheeled racemonsters must give way at some point. Even sitting at home you can be part of the action, like here with the Audi, Corvette or Peugeot. If you’re more into numbers, check the lap times. All the rides, tracks and latest here. If the live in car camera is a bit too much to stomach you can always tune into one of the unstable livestreams, 1, 2 en 3 and 4. Kiwi driver Roger Wills will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Chris Amon and Bruce McLaren who won the race in 1966 in a seven-litre Ford GT40 (NZHerald). The first crash is already in the books as Allan McNish tried to give the public a close up of his Audi. See here and here.
